Mental Health and Wellness Counsellor
Hi, I’m Paniz. I prioritize safer, identity-affirming spaces for neurodivergent, 2SLGBTQ+ folks, newcomers, and students facing barriers. If you are neurodivergent, part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, or a student hoping to build skills for educational success, I'm here to be your guide. I help you make more sense of what's going on, and together, we find the right supports and resources for you, and build everyday skills that can make life feel a little easier. ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| What I can help with: 1) Skill-building: gentle, concrete strategies for emotion regulation, routines, school success, and communication—especially for neurodivergent and disabled youth. 2) Care navigation: from intake to referrals, I help you access services and keep everyone (caregivers, teachers, clinicians) on the same page. 3) Safety support: I provide crisis support, check immediate safety, and co-create simple plans for next steps. ||||||||||||||||||||||| I am certified in ABA, SAFEtalk, Accessibility Awareness, Supporting Students with Prevalent Medical Conditions, Crisis Prevention & Intervention, LivingWorks, and studied psychology at an undergraduate level, at UofT. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| DISCLAIMER: I don’t diagnose or provide psychotherapy. If you’re looking for therapy, I can help you connect quickly with licensed clinicians and stay alongside you as a support and advocate. But I am NOT a therapist or psychologist. - If you are in immediate mental health distress, Call or text 9-8-8.
